2019 HSC Business Studies Day

The Faculty of Business invites year 12 students and teachers to attend our free Business Studies HSC Study Day. Students will hear from an acclaimed industry key note speaker discuss the topic below.

  • The Business Studies Syllabus, interconnecting themes between the four topics, the relationship between objectives in Operations, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources.
  • The use of and application of interesting Business Case studies through the course, and how different case studies can be used to show both content specific knowledge and also interconnected thinking between the topic areas.
  • Exam strategies including an assessment of trends in the style of HSC questions, writing reports and extended responses.

Registration

Students are required to RSVP individually online prior to the event.
Places are strictly limited. Students who register must be on track to receive an ATAR of at least 70 or higher.

Lunch

The Faculty of Business will provide lunch for students and staff and teachers.

Transport

 The City of Liverpool has six CityRail lines passing through the area, and boasts one of Sydney’s first rapid bus transit-way systems, making it easy for students to travel to and from the UOW South Western Sydney campus.

Dress Code

We request that student’s wear their school uniform to the study days so that staff can easily identify them on campus.

Student Handouts

UOW will provide the students with the presentation slides and handouts on the day.
